| This paper discusses the use of ChatGPT in Library Service and Information Service. ChatGPT is the language model trained by open AI that has a special capabilities in natural language processing and understanding. This paper helps to discuss the potential pros and cons of using ChatGPT in library and reference services. ChatGPT supports information access, the fastest information retrieval ofinformation, resource development, reference services, library instruction and research activities. The finding shows that ChatGPT is a helpful tool for libraries and their users. In general the paper
